Mother's Day Gift #3: DIY Glass Bottle Flower Vase

All women have an interest in decorating their homes with unique items acquired through great difficulties but what can be a better décor item than one created by their little ones! This DIY Glass Bottle Flower Vase is a perfect gift for a décor loving mom! Lots of colours, upcycled product and their child’s creativity, what can make it more perfect!

Shown below is a step-by-step tutorial of making this cute little décor item. Just grab all the supplies and gear up for making this colourful flower vase and gifting it to your mom this mother’s day!

Supplies:

Step 1: Assemble all the supplies needed for the project as mentioned.

Step 2: Coat the bottle with white colour with sponge brush. Do two to three coats and let it dry after every coat. Once the bottle is fully covered then it will turn opaque.

Step 3: Pick up any colour and make small dots with either a brush or an earbud whichever is convenient.

Step 4: Now use sponge brush to make bigger dots at a distance. We have done this first with blue, then yellow, then pink, then purple and then teal.

Step 5: With earbuds add small dots of all the colours to fill space around the bottle in between the bigger dots.

Step 6: Add purple string on top by gluing the ends. Add green string beneath it.

Step 7: Add some water in the bottle and add freshly cut money plant strands in the bottle. The vase is now ready to be gifted!
