Know Our Country

Knowing about one's country is very important. It makes a person feel connected with the country's culture, its roots and diversity. Especially for India which is home to so many different ethnicities and hence cultures.

Knowing about their country is more significant for children who are otherwise a little clueless about it because of the absence of exposure. When we teach children about their culture, it makes them take pride in it and hence be more commented with it.

Here we bring in some activities to teach kids about important facts and knowledge related to our country and its culture. So, let's dive into these activities and Know Our Country! 😍

Silhouette Taj Mahal

Taj Mahal is one of the seven wonders of the world and hence is an important part of India's cultural heritage. So to Know Our Country, we are first starting off with some craft on this beautiful masterpiece built in the city of Agra, Uttar Pradesh.

Colours of religions

This is a flash card activity that can be sued to teach kids about the different religions that exist in India along with their religious symbols or symbols that represent them. We have given an example of some of the major religions. Similar flash cards can be made for other religions too!

Stick the Map

This activity is to teach the kids about India's map and to do so using a fine motor skill activity. As is our forever aim to combine different types of activities in order to provide all round development for the kids. To make it more fun we have made the map tricolor to also include the element of India's flag colours in the learning.
