Know Our Flag

15th of August is celebrated as Indian's Independence Day. It is the day when India got its freedom from British colonial rule. This is day is celebrated with great zeal and vigour throughout the country.

Our theme for this week's learning activities is Know Our Flag. Indian national flag has three colours in it, namely saffron, white and green. It also has the Dharma Chakra of Emperor Asoka in the center stripe as the emblem on the flag.
