Father's Day Scratch Card

prettylittleartspace

Scratch card is a beautiful concept and can be used in multiple ways depending on the style of scratching. We have used it here in the most basic way as it is made by a young child who just wanted to do something special for her father. So, we decided why not let's teach her something innovative that she can later on explore in different ways with time.

Follow below for a step-by-step picture tutorial for creating this piece.

Supplies needed: Thick sheet

White cartridge sheet, Oil pastels, Black acrylic paint, Dishwash liquid, Paintbrush, Yellow & orange sheet, Color pens and Fevicol.

**To make the Black paint to be used to make the scratch you need to mix half and half of the Black acrylic paint and dishwash liquid.

Step 1: Fold the yellow and orange paper like a fan. Then draw and cut circles with the help of any lid.

Step 2: Cut some triangles also of yellow and orange paper.

Step 3: Take the white cartridge sheet and fold it to form a card. Paste the triangle alternatively of both colours to form rays of sun at the center of the card. Then stick a circle on the triangles.

Step 4: Fold all the circles into half.

Step 5: Stick all the half circles one over the other.

Step 6: Then stick the end of the last two half circles to the base circle to look as an open ball.

Step 7: Write and decorate the content with the help of colourful pens.

Step 8: Now start scratching your chosen drawing on the black scratch sheet as made in video tutorial step. The sheet used for making the scratch sheet is a thick sheet.

Step 9: Stick the designed black scratch sheet to the front base of the card.

The Father's Day Scratch card is now ready!
