Hello everyone
We introduced you to our two stories and the two set of characters. First one being 'The Gruffalo' and the second one 'The Ant and The Grasshopper'.
As explained earlier, the former will be a day time shoot whereas the later will be a night time depiction. However, for both of them we need a theater. So, today we have come to show you how to form a theater so you can do storytelling activity for your children.

Step 1: Take a cardboard box. Draw a rectangle on one of the biggest sides by leaving 1-inch border on the sides. Cut this drawn rectangle from 3 sides.
A and C are the sides of the theater.
B is the top and D is the bottom.
Step 2: Fold the cut rectangle from side B according to the width of the box (from front to back of theater) so that it can go inside the box and form the platform.
Don't cut the extra portion after measuring the width because that will form the platform support.
Step 3: Turn the box to the top and create a rectangle by leaving 1-inch border on all sides as shown in the image.
Step 4: Paste a brown paper on the 3-side-cut rectangle which will form the platform.
Step 5: Paste any printed sheet around the box.
Step 6: Make 2 holes on both the sides of the theater screen (towards the front) to put the curtain and butter paper rod.
Step 7: Take 2 butter paper sheets and a stick. Stick the 2 butter paper sheets according to the size needed for curtain and paste one end of the pasted sheet to the stick. Now start rolling the butter paper on it.
Step 8: Insert the butter paper rod in the second set of holes from the front.
Step 9: We'll cut two rectangular pieces of a pretty cloth to make the curtain. We'll put these curtains into a thick thread to make the curtain hanging.
Step 10: We'll put this curtain hanging thread through the first set of holes (towards the front) on both the sides to hang the curtain.
Step 11: We'll make a pompom hanging by putting pompoms through a thick thread. Hang this thread in front of the curtains.
Step 12: Cut a cardboard in the shape as shown in the image to make the top board for the theater. We have named ours as 'Once Upon A Time'. Paint the same on the board with red, yellow and white acrylic colours.
The day and night theater is now ready!
