DIY Book Bin - Kid's Room Decor

Books are an essential element of everybody's life, be it kids or adults. One not only buys books as and when they want to read but everybody likes to keep a stock so that they can pick up the next book whenever they want to. Hence, keeping them safe and organized is very important.

Today we have got the perfect DIY Book Bin for your kid's room to keep the books organized for them and also to make them responsible to organize it themselves.

Follow our step by step picture tutorial for knowing how to make it.

Supplies needed: Jute Cloth, Old cardboard box, Stationery, Lace, Printed paper, Black acrylic colour, Paint brush.

Step 1: Take a cardboard box (cuboid) and tape all the edges around.

Step 2: Cut the top of the box from 3 sides to make the lid which you can open and close to keep the books safe from dust.

Step 3: Cut a cardboard rectangle piece of same width and height as of the box to make the partition.

Step 4: Paste the jute cloth all around the box and stick any lace on the lid edges to enhance the look.

Step 5: Paste any cute printed paper inside the box covering all the sides as shown in the image.

Step 6: Now paint ‘My Library’ with black acrylic paint and stick any lace and flowers to complete the look.

Step 7: On the left side of the box paint a partition and content with black acrylic colour as shown in the image.

The DIY Book Bin for your kids is now ready!
