Cootie Catcher - Unique Father's Day Gift

Diving into the idea of a #CootieCatcher makes me so nostalgic! This is something we have played with all through our childhood using colours, numbers and what not. Bringing this to you today with this twist makes me so happy!

So, let me introduce you to today’s idea for the Father’s Day gift, A Cootie Catcher. With this thing, a child can play with his/her father and have fun this #fathersday. We have made it in such a way that it has 4 top categories:

1. Gifts

2. Indoor Games

3. Outdoor Games

4. Spending time together

Under ‘GIFTS’, we have created two puzzles which refer to the gifts that the child has made for his/her father. Under ‘INDOOR GAMES’ and ‘OUTDOOR GAMES’, the puzzles refer to the games that they play together. Under ‘SPENDING TIME TOGETHER’, the puzzles refer to the activities they do to spend time together.

Playing with the Cootie Catcher will thus enable the father-child duo to spend more time together which is ultimately the aim of any special day!

Follow the step-by-step picture tutorial to create this #uniquegift!

Supplies Needed: Stationary, Printed Paper

Step 1: Take any printed paper and fold it from one corner to another completely to form a triangle. Cut the excess and you will get a perfect square.

Step 2: Fold the paper from the other side too by joining the opposite corners.

Step 3: Firstly, open the paper and then start folding all the corners towards the center of the square as shown in the image.

Step 4: Flip the paper and start doing the same process as step 3.

Step 5: Now, firstly fold the paper from left to right and then from top to bottom into half as shown in the image.

Step 6: Insert the fingers towards the tip of the triangle to adjust the shape. Your Cootie Catcher body is now ready.

Step 7: Write numbers on the triangles as shown in the image.

Step 8: Flip the paper. Draw representation images for top categories according to the content of your cootie catcher as shown in the image.

Step 9: Fill in the contents of your Cootie Catcher on the absolute inside as shown in the image.

Step 10: The final look of the entire content when opened will be as shown in Step 10 image.

Your Cootie Catcher is now ready!!!
